Discover Poland in "Songlines"

The October issue of Songlines magazine comes with Discover Poland, a special CD insert featuring 18 recordings that present the Polish folk music scene, ranging from Warsaw Village Band to Studium Instrumentów Etnicznych.

Marking the Kolberg Year, the Institute of Music and Dance in Warsaw together with the Adam Mickiewicz Institute has released a special CD insert titled Discover Poland and featuring recordings by Poland's most important folk bands. The CD is circulated together with the October issue of Songlines, leading international music magazine. The issue will be presented at the WOMEX music expo in Santiago de Compostela, Spain, on 22–26 October 2014.

This is the second Polish CD insert in Songlines. The first, featuring selected recordings of Polish traditional music, was released in January this year.
