Oskar Kolberg Guide

The Oskar Kolberg Guide allows users to travel around places and regions connected with Oskar Kolberg and his work.
Users of the application will not only get to know Kolberg's life, following the routes he travelled, often outside of Poland's present boarders, but also the culture of the regions this prominent ethnographer documented, exploring their characteristic customs, iconography, and music thanks to the collections of Polish Radio (the CD series "Muzyka źródeł") and of the Institute of Music and Dance in Warsaw.
The application is available for downloading for free, in Polish and English, for Android and iOS devices (as of 22 February and 23 October 2014, respectively).
The guide is a joint project of the Fryderyk Chopin Institute (Warsaw), Institute of Music and Dance (Warsaw), and Oskar Kolberg Institute (Poznań).
