The book titled Oskar Kolberg (1814–1890) is a popular representation of milestones and most important episodes in the life of Oskar Kolberg.
It is illustrated with personal documents, reprinted nineteenth-century manuscripts, portraits of Kolberg, his family and friends, as well as snapshots of places important for his private life and ethnographic journeys.
The book Oskar Kolberg (1814–1890) has been developed together with the Institute of Music and Dance in Warsaw, and is one of the strategic projects of the Kolberg Year. The texts and illustrations were prepared by Katarzyna Markiewicz, and the graphic design by Mateusz Kamieński/Mateoo graphic design studio. The publication has been sponsored by Bank Spółdzielczy in Przysucha.
The book is available (at the price of PLN 40) in the Oskar Kolberg Museum in Przysucha and in the Open-Air Museum of Rural Architecture in Radom.print
